  8. LControl is a program to control video cameras via
  9. a special control hardware. The cameras must have
  10. a LANC- (Sony compatible) or 5-Pin-Edit-interface
  11. (Panasonic compatible).
  12.  
  13. For cameras with a LANC-interface there are
  14. hardwares for the (internal) parallel and the
  15. (internal) serial port of the Amgia. The solution
  16. for the serial port needs much less CPU power. The
  17. parallel port hardware offers a two camera option
  18. - the software can swap between the two connected
  19. cameras.

  21. For cameras with a 5-Pin-Edit-interface
  22. (Panasonic/Blaupunkt) there is a parallelport
  23. hardware, too. (LControl becomes PControl).

  25. LControl is a commodity and it has an ARexx port.
  26. Therefore LControl can work in the background and
  27. your camera can be "programmed" via ARexx.

  35. Fⁿr Kameras mit LANC-Schnittstelle exitistieren
  36. Hardwares fⁿr den (jeweils internen) seriellen
  37. (=SControl) und parallelen Port des Amiga, wobei
  38. die serielle L÷sung wesentlich weniger Rechenzeit
  39. ben÷tigt. An der Parallelport-Hardware hingegen
  40. k÷nnen zwei Kameras angeschlossen werden, zwischen
  41. denen per Software umgeschalten werden kann.

  43. Fⁿr Kameras mit 5-Pin-Edit-Schnittstelle
  44. (Panasonic/Blaupunkt) existiert ebenfalls eine
  45. Parallelport-Hardware (LControl wird dann PControl
  46. genannt).

  48. LControl ist ein Commodity und besitzt einen
  49. ARexx-Port. Somit kann LControl auch im
  50. Hintergrund arbeiten und ⁿber den ARexx-Port kann
  51. die Videokamera auch "programmiert" werden.
